I can totally relate. I've been keeping notes, drawings, ideas, maps, you name it, in notebooks for over ten years now. Campaign ideas and locations, adventure ideas and all that. I agree that this is one of the best things you can do as a Dungeon Master/Referee -- if the writer's block doesn't make it impossible sometimes.
unfortunately due to the cramps in my hand, I was not able to continue writing. I had to switch to doing an audio journal, and then bullet point my ideas in my digital journal.
